Dear Colleague,
The 4th International Congress on Licensure, Certification and Credentialing of Psychologists
will build on the relationships and information sharing that occurred among world leaders
in psychology regulation during three previous congresses with the same focus. The 1st International Congress on Licensure,
Certification and Credentialing of Psychologists in 1995 in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A., the 2nd International Congress in Oslo,
Norway in 2000, and the 3rd International Congress in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 2004. International congresses that focus
exclusively on the regulation of psychology seem more and more necessary and worthwhile in light of the changes in psychology
training and practice occurring around the world. International mobility, accreditation of training programs, and consulting as well
as other cross border practices like telehealth and internet based testing underscore the need to explore psychology regulatory issues from
a global perspective.
This date and location were selected to coincide with the 29th International Congress of Applied Psychology which will meet July 11-16, 2010 in Melbourne Australia (www.icap2010.com) We invite you to join us in Sydney in July 2010.
